Add and Modify Appointment Note

In this article:

This article helps you add notes to an appointment, either to share information with a coworker or as a reminder to yourself.

To perform the following procedures, open the Appointment Book.

Add an Appointment Note

  1. Right-click on an existing appointment and select Add Note.
    The Note box opens.

    Tip: Alternatively, select an appointment, click the arrow next to [Appointment Note] on the toolbar, and select Insert Note.
  2. Type the note in the box.
    Tip: Press Enter to type on a new line.
  3. Click outside the Note box to save the note and close the box.
    Note: A small red triangle appears in the top right corner of the appointment, indicating that a note is attached. To preview the note, click on the red triangle.

Tip: To add a note while creating a new appointment, enter the note in the Appointment note section of the New Appointment and Precharge window.

Edit an Appointment Note

  1. Right-click on an existing appointment and select Edit Note.
    Tip: Alternatively, select an appointment, click the arrow next to [Appointment Note] on the toolbar and select Edit Note.
  2. Make changes to the note, then click outside the Note box to save the note and close the box.

Delete an Appointment Note

  1. Right-click on an existing appointment, then select Delete Note.
    Tip: Alternatively, select an appointment, click the arrow next to [Appointment Note] on the toolbar and select Delete Note.
