Manage Users in SoftEther VPN

To start, log in to your sever computer and follow the steps below to open the Manage Users window.

1. Open SoftEther VPN.
2. Double-click on localhost (This server).
3. Click on Manage Virtual Hub.
4. Click on Manage Users button.

Create new user

1. Click New.
2. Enter the following information:
   • User Name
   • Full Name
   • Password
   • Confirm Password
3. Click OK.

Edit user

1. Double-click on a user.
2. Make changes to Full name and Password.

   Note: You cannot change the User Name.

3. Click OK.

Delete user

1. Select a user from the list.
2. Click Remove.
3. Click Yes to confirm.

When done, you will want to close all SoftEther VPN windows.

Provide users with login credentials

After creating a new user, you will want to provide the user with the following information:

Server name or address: GIVEN_NAME.softether.net

IPsec Pre-Shared Key: PRE_SHARED_KEY

User name: the username you created

Password: the password you created
