This article helps you add notes to an appointment, either to share information with a coworker or as a reminder to yourself.
To perform the following procedures, open the Appointment Book.
Add an Appointment Note
- Right-click on an existing appointment and select Add Note.
The Note box opens.
Tip: Alternatively, select an appointment, click the arrow next to [Appointment Note] on the toolbar, and select Insert Note. - Type the note in the box.
Tip: Press Enter to type on a new line. - Click outside the Note box to save the note and close the box.
Note: A small red triangle appears in the top right corner of the appointment, indicating that a note is attached. To preview the note, click on the red triangle.
Tip: To add a note while creating a new appointment, enter the note in the Appointment note section of the New Appointment and Precharge window.
Edit an Appointment Note
- Right-click on an existing appointment and select Edit Note.
Tip: Alternatively, select an appointment, click the arrow next to [Appointment Note] on the toolbar and select Edit Note. - Make changes to the note, then click outside the Note box to save the note and close the box.
Delete an Appointment Note
- Right-click on an existing appointment, then select Delete Note.
Tip: Alternatively, select an appointment, click the arrow next to [Appointment Note] on the toolbar and select Delete Note.
